
New Delhi: Rajeev Khillan is set to be next Director (Projects) of MECON Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving Chief General Manager at NALCO.
Khillan has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of MECON from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 14. Out of 10 candidates, five candidates were from MECON, two from Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Ministry of Railways and Northern Railway.
As Director (Projects) of MECON, Khillan will be a member of Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for ensuring timely construction, erection, commissioning and completion of all projects under the corporation as per the desired quality and cost frame work through effective project management system.
