Rakesh Nandan Sahay set to be next Director (Personnel) of RINL

New Delhi: Rakesh Nandan Sahay is set to be next Director (Personnel) of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Additional General Manager (HR) at NTPC Limited.

Sahay has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of RINL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 16. Out of 10 candidates, four candidates were from RINL, two candidates from BSNL and one each NTPC Limited, Engineers India Limited (EIL) and ONGC Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of RINL, Sahay will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director. He will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc. in the organisation.
