New Delhi: Transport infrastructure consultancy firm RITES Limited has appointed Prem Singh Meena as Director (Projects), following approval from the Ministry of Railways.

The appointment has come into effect from March 19, 2026, and will continue until his superannuation on June 30, 2028, or until further orders. The company’s Board has also approved his appointment as an Additional Director designated as Director (Projects), in line with regulatory requirements.

Prior to this elevation, Meena was serving as Executive Director at RITES, handling Rail Infrastructure, Metro projects, and project coordination. He replaces Deepak Tripathi, who had been holding additional charge of the Director (Projects) position and has now relinquished the role.

An Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) officer of the 1990 batch, Meena brings over 34 years of experience across traction distribution, rolling stock, general electrical services, and rail and metro infrastructure projects. He has been associated with key assignments such as railway electrification, signalling works, metro rail project management consultancy, and business development initiatives.
