SAIL’s Rashmi Singh set to be next Director (Commercial) of MOIL

New Delhi: Rashmi Singh is set to be next Director (Commercial) MOIL Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. She has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Presently, she is serving as Chief General Manager in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

Singh has been recommended for the post of Director (Commercial) of MOIL Limited from a list of 12 candidates who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel it its selection meeting held on October 12. Out of 12 candidates, four candidates were from MOIL Limited, three from NMDC Limited, two from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and one each from Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMCL) and Inland World Logistics Pvt. Ltd.

As Director (Commercial) of MOIL, Singh will be a member of the board of directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). She will be the Head of Marketing department of the organisation having total accountability for achieving high degree of performance through well directed coordination of all activities relating to marketing of company's products.
