Sushil Sharma gets additional charge as SJVN CMD

Sushil Sharma, who is currently serving as Director (Projects), has been given additional charge as CMD of SJVN Limited on Thursday

New Delhi: Sushil Sharma has been given the additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of SJVN Limited on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Director (Projects) in the organisation.

According to the company, his additional charge comes into effect from May 1 for a period of three months or until further orders.

"Ministry of Power through its order dated May 2, 2024, has entrusted Sushil Sharma, Director (Projects), SJVN Limited with an additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Personnel), SJVN Ltd," SJVN said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

Sharma did his B.E. (Mechanical) from VNIT, Nagpur. He has more than 30 years of rich and varied experience in various organisations including SJVN. He started his career in H.P. State Technical Education Service in 1990. He joined SJVN in January, 1994 as Astt. Engineer and worked in various Departments / Projects and rose to the level of General Manager (Mechanical).
