New Delhi: Indian Bank Management Academy for Growth and Excellence (IMAGE), Chennai has received the prestigious 'Golden Peacock National Training Award (GPNTA)' for the year 2023. The award is given to best training institution among financial sector in the country. IMAGE was adjudged for this award for its various innovative training initiatives viz. smart learnings, hybrid model trainings, new age Learning Management System, best training evaluation and impact analysis initiatives of the bank.
The winner was decided by the Awards Jury under the Chairmanship of Justice MN Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India and former Chairman, National Human Rights Commission of India and National Commission for Constitution of India Reforms.
Indian Bank's MD & CEO SL Jain received the famed Golden Peacock Awards Trophy and a Certificate at a specially organised 'Golden Peacock Awards Presentation Ceremony,' on Wednesday, March 15 in Dubai (UAE). The award was presented by His Highness Sheikh Nahayan Bin Mabarak Al Nahayan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Govt. of UAE in the august presence of Ambassador of India to UAE Sunjay Sudhir (IFS) and Institute of Directors' President Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath {PVSM, AVSM (Retd.)}. Several business & industry leaders were present at the event.
Indian Bank is receiving this award for the third time after receiving the award earlier in 2009 and 2018. IMAGE is also an ISO certified organisation since 2003.
