REC announces a number of vacancies for Dy GM, CGM & other posts

REC Recruitment 2021: REC Limited has released a job notification for the engagement of Deputy General Manager, Chief General Manager and others posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these jobs before October 16.

Education Qualifications & work experience

Candidates applying for the post of Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) posts, should have qualifications in the Chartered Accountancy or Cost & Management Accountancy withe the minimum relevant post qualification executive experience of 18 years in Corporate Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Resource Management, Asset & Liability Management in a Financial Institution or NBFC or Bank or PSU.

Candidates applying for Chief Manager (Engineering) posts should have regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering or B Tech or equivalent qualifications in related fields from a recognised institute or university with first division or equivalent to cumulative grade points average (CGPA) along with 15 years of post-qualification executive experience in a power distribution utility.

Candidates applying for Manager (Engineering) posts should have regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering or B Tech or equivalent in related field from a recognised institute or university with first division or equivalent CGPA along with 12 years of post-qualification executive experience in a power distribution utility.

Candidates applying for Deputy Manager (Engineering) post should have regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering (BE) or B Tech in the related field from a recognised institute or university with first division or equivalent CGPA along with 9 years of post-qualification executive experience in a power distribution utility.

Candidates applying for Assistant Manager (Engineering) posts should also have regular full-time Bachelors in Engineering (BE) or B. Tech in the related field from the recognised institute or university with first division or equivalent CGPA along with 5 years of post-qualification executive experience in a power distribution utility

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000/. While candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, PwBD and internal Candidates are exempted from payment of this application fee. 

Selection Process

Candidates shall be selected on the basis of their educational qualifications, work experience and performance in the selection process including interview. List of selected candidates, in order of merit, subject to medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents, shall be published on the portal and selected candidates will be informed individually at the address for correspondence and e-mail given in the application.

Candidates working in the Public Sector or Government Sector or Autonomous bodies of Government shall be required to submit proper relieving order from the present employer at the time of joining.
