REIL organises program on “Grid Connected Rooftop”

Jaipur: In line with the government's 'National Solar Mission' for the government buildings in various States/Union Territories of India by Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL), the company has "Stakeholder Delegation on Rooftop Solar on RESCO Model" on December 10, in the presence of various officials of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Rajasthan Co-operative Dairy Federation Limited (RCDF).

An event was organised in the auditorium of REIL's newly built office "REIL House" at Mansarovar. The program was inaugurated by REIL's Managing Director Dr AK Jain, by lighting the lamp. High officials of REIL and stakeholders of REIL actively participated on the occasion and the "Roof Grid Connected Roof Top Solar" and "Kusum Yojana" were discussed in detail by the participants in the program. Dr AK Jain said that the REIL has been recognised as an expert CPSE by the government. Dr Jain said that he shared his views on making solar energy sustainable with the integration of e-mobility, storage, etc., to achieve 40 GW grid-connected rooftop solar and the reliability of solar producers while ensuring the quality of products and services emphasized attention to the importance of. It is necessary to ensure the availability of trained manpower for the successful installation, operation and maintenance of these "Grid Connected Solar Rooftop" systems. He said that there is immense potential in the field of solar energy.

On this occasion, REIL's Executive Director (Projects) Piyush Paliwal said that REIL has been working under the expert CPSE in MNRE's "Achievement Linked Incentive Scheme" on the roofs of 10 Ministries' offices. In this workshop, details of "Kusum Yojana" were also shared through a presentation by REIL's General Manager (Renewable Energy). About 40 participants involved in the workshop spoke about the challenges faced in the implementation of grid-connected RTS projects among stakeholders through interactive sessions and provided a platform for successful discussion among the participants. On this occasion, thanks were extended to all the participants involved.
