PESB recommends Renuka Gera for BHEL’s Director (Industrial Systems & Products) post

New Delhi: Renuka Gera is set to be the next Director (Industrial Systems & Products) of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. Gera's name has been recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Gera is an Engineering Graduate (BE in Electronics & Communication) from Delhi College of Engineering and is currently working as Executive Director in the same organisation.

Gera has been recommended for the post of Director (Industrial Systems & Products) of BHEL from a list of eight candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. There were a total of six candidates, including Gera, who were from BHEL, and the remaining candidates were from Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) and Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL).

As Director (Industrial Systems & Products), Gera will be a business sector chief and will be responsible for marketing management of systems and products pertaining to Industry Sector, covering Captive Power, Transmission, Rail Transportation, Defence, Industrial Products and Renewable Energy segments.
