RINL launches mobile health care facility

New Delhi: RINL-Vizag Steel Plant launched 'Mobile Health Care Unit' for periodic health check-ups as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. RINL's Director (Personnel) KC Das flagged off the mobile health care van as a mark of inauguration of the corporate environmental responsibility (CER) project.

The objective of the project is to reach out to those who are unable to access the existing healthcare system due to lack of mobility, old, or any other reason and bring healthcare service to their doorsteps. This project is implemented through Help Age India at a cost of Rs 24.14 lakhs.

KC Das in his address appreciated Help Age India for partnering with RINL-VSP in this novel CER project.

Financial support for restoration activities in cyclone Titli

KC Das also handed over a cheque of Rs 25 Lakhs to General Manager (District Industries Center) Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh towards "extending financial support for restoration activities in Cyclone TITLI affected areas of Srikakulam District" as a CSR Initiative.

The staff of CSR department, Deputy General Manager (Agro-Forestry), Deputy General Manager (Stock Verification) and Help Age India Andhra Pradesh State Liason officer and his team also attend the function. Due to the outbreak of COVID 19, the celebration was a low-key affair taking all precautions.
