RITES signs MoU with CSIR-CRRI for cooperation in the infrastructure sector

New Delhi: RITES Limited has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CSIR-Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) to explore opportunities for cooperation in the infrastructure sector. In a statement issued on Tuesday company said that under this agreement, RITES and CSIR-CRRI will collaborate for technical services, including consultancy assignments, knowledge sharing, research and development etc. The partnership foresees the development of innovative and sustainable solutions that will drive the sector forward and can deliver significant value to associated stakeholders.

RITES Limited is a Miniratna PSU and a leading player in the transport consultancy and engineering sector in India, having diversified services and geographical reach. While CSIR-CRRI is a premier national laboratory established in 1952.

RITES is engaged in carrying out research and development projects on design, construction and maintenance of roads and runways, traffic and transportation planning, utilization of industrial waste, landslide control, road traffic safety, pavement performance monitoring/evaluation, service life assessment of bridges.
