RSP launches upgraded app for former employees

Rourkela: SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has launched an upgraded android-based mobile application “samparksailrsp” for its former employees. The ex-employees are required to uninstall the earlier version of the app and reinstall the upgraded app “samparksailrsp” from Google Playstore on their mobile phones. After installing the app, they can use various facilities available in the app.

What is new in this app?

This upgraded app provides various services like OPD appointment booking with specialist doctors at Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Form-16, TDS for EFBS beneficiaries, grievance register, and information regarding important notices. This mobile app for retired employees is the first-of-its-kind to be launched by SAIL. “RSP has not only been using the latest technologies to provide efficient services to its former employees, but also extending several other facilities to make their lives hassle-free,” an official press release said.

An internal website for ex-employees

In order to have better connectivity with ex-employees of RSP, an internet website (www.sampark.sailrsp.co.in) was developed and is in operation since 2015. Various facilities like all types of Mediclaim forms, OPD booking with specialist doctors at IGH, information on Medi-claim, health awareness, production of RSP, different magazines of RSP, Form 16, TDS for EFBS beneficiaries are available on the website.
