A massive awareness campaign has also been initiated. A film has been made comprising information along with visuals regarding the symptoms as well as Do's and Don'ts pertaining to the disease. It has also stressed on the fact that corona is preventable and there is no need to panic. The film is being screened in various forums and is also being circulated through social media.

Leaflets carrying the 'Do's and Don'ts' pertaining to the disease are being distributed door-to-door in the Steel Township. Hoardings are also being put in strategic locations both inside the Plant and in the township to create awareness and also advising people not to get panicky.

RSP's CEO Dipak Chattaraj has addressed all the Heads of Departments as well as other senior officers over a teleconference and discussed the steps being taken by the Plant to overcome the challenge. It is worth mentioning here that all alternative measures are being taken so that there would be no crisis pertaining to the input materials and no disruption in plant operation.

The CEO has exhorted the employees to not to panic and said, "It is a matter of relief that no case of coronavirus has been so far reported in this region. However, we cannot be complacent or careless. We have to strictly adhere to the Do's and Don't pertaining to the spread of the disease. At the same time, it is our responsibility to be vigilant and observe the symptoms of people in our vicinity. If anyone shows any signs of being affected by the coronavirus we should immediately facilitate in providing urgent medical attention to that person."
