RSP’s CEO interacts with key customers of south India

Rourkela: Two customer meets were organised by Steel Authority of India Limited's (SAIL) Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) at Chennai and Trichy. RSP's CEO Dipak Chattaraj presided over the customer meet held at Chennai on November 21 and interacted with the key customers of RSP of the southern region. The CEO was accompanied by RSP's Executive Director (Marketing) Gautam Ghosh, Chief General Manager (Plate Mill) D Dutta, Senior Officers of CMO and RSP. 20 customers attended the meet.

Describing the customers as partners in progress, the CEO urged them to continue reposing their trust in RSP. "RSP is going to commission the new state-of-the-art hot strip Mill-2 (HSM-2). It'll leave no stone unturned to meet customer requirements for all types of grades and strengthen the concept of the 'Make in India' mission," he added.

The customer meet was organised to appraise the customers regarding the unique features of HSM-2, new plate mill and plate Mill of RSP.

The meeting will help in realising the efforts of SAIL, RSP to further expand its market share in South India. The SAIL, RSP team interacted with the customers and took note of specific points raised in the meeting. A brief presentation was made on Plate Mill, New Plate Mill and HSM-2 of RSP.

A similar meeting was also held at Trichy on November 22 in which 15 customers attended.
