SAIL’s HN Mishra set to be next Director (Personnel) of Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL)

New Delhi: Harsh Nath Mishra is set to be the next Director (Personnel) of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal and a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. He is currently serving as General Manager (HR) in Steel Authority of India Ltd's (SAIL) Bokaro Steel Plant.

Mishra has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of CCL from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel. Other candidates who appeared for the interview were from Western Coalfields Limited, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Coal India Limited (CIL) and MECON Limited.

As Director (Personnel) of CCL, Mishra will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in-charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control etc in the organisation.
