New Delhi: Samir Mukherjee is set to be new Director (Personnel) at ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited), a PSU company under the Department of Atomic Energy. Mukherjee's name has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. He is currently serving as General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Mahratana PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

Mukherjee has been selected as Director (Personnel) ECIL from a list of four candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. Other candidates were from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), SJVN Limited and Indian Telecommunication Service.
In September, Anirudh Prashad Singh was selected for the post of Director (Finance), ECIL. He is currently working in Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL Limited) as General Manager.
