Samir Mukherjee set to be new Director (Personnel) ECIL

New Delhi: Samir Mukherjee is set to be new Director (Personnel) at ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Limited), a PSU company under the Department of Atomic Energy. Mukherjee’s name has been recommended by a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. He is currently serving as General Manager at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Mahratana PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

4 candidates were shortlisted for Director (Personnel) ECIL post

Mukherjee has been selected as Director (Personnel) ECIL from a list of four candidates who were interviewed by the selection panel. Other candidates were from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), SJVN Limited and Indian Telecommunication Service.

In September, Anirudh Prashad Singh was selected for the post of Director (Finance), ECIL. He is currently working in Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL Limited) as General Manager.

ECIL is a public sector undertaking under the Department of Atomic Energy, established on April 11, 1967, by AS Rao at Hyderabad, to create a strong indigenous base in electronics.
