New Delhi: SJVN Limited's Chairman & Managing Director Nand Lal Sharma visited Buxar Thermal Power Project, Chausa, Buxar, Bihar on an inspection tour. He was accompanied by SJVN's  Director (Electrical) RK Bansal.

SJVN Thermal Power Limited's (STPL) CEO SC Agarwal, STPL's Chief GM Sanjeev Sood and STPL's CFO SL Sharma along with all the employees greeted the dignitaries on their arrival to the project site. Welcoming Nand Lal Sharma SC Agarwal expressed his gratitude towards him for sparing his valuable time to be amongst STPL employees and motivating them.

Sharma in his address expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the progress of project works and exhorted employees to strive hard to complete the project ahead of schedule.  RK Bansal in his address said that under the able guidance and leadership of our dynamic CMD, Buxar project will definitely be completed ahead of schedule time.

Sanjeev Sood thanked CMD and Director (Electrical) for their visit to the project and assured that their visit will definitely motivate the employees to put their best in completion of the project as scheduled.

Sanjeev Sood is scheduled to take-over as CEO of STPL after the retirement of the present CEO, SC Agarwal on February 29.

SJVN Thermal Power Limited (STPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited which is executing 1,320 MW (660 X 2) Buxar Thermal Power Project in Chausa, Buxar (Bihar). The project construction work is in full swing and is scheduled to be completed by October 2023. On commissioning, the project will generate the energy of 9,828 MU per annum and herald a new era of prosperity in the area.
