New Delhi: Green energy PSU, SJVN Limited has entered into an agreement for the construction of the 220 KV D/C single zebra, transmission line from 66 MW Dhaulasidh HEP (Distt. Hamirpur, H.P.) Switchyard to 220 KV HPPTCL network in Sujanpur area (HP) with KEC International Limited, Mumbai.
SJVN Limited’s Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Nand Lal Sharma apprised that the works amounting to Rs 47.40 crores included end-to-end delivery of the commissioned transmission line by February 2024.
The contract agreement was signed in the august presence of SJVN’s Director (Electrical) Sushil Sharma by SJVN’s Executive Director (Electrical Contracts) Salil Shamshery and KEC International Ltd’s Chief Manager (Sales & Tendering) Anil Kalia. On this occasion, senior officials from SJVN and KEC were also present.
Sharma said this power transmission line will enable SJVN to transmit power generated from 66 MW DSHEP into HPPTCL Network. Dhaulasidh HEP is designed to generate 304 MUs of energy per annum. This project is one more milestone toward strengthening the diversified portfolio of SJVN and showing our commitment to empowering the nation.
