SPMCIL sets up new bank note printing lines each at Nashik and Dewas

New Delhi: Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) under its modernization initiatives has set up new Bank Note Printing Lines each at Currency Note Press (CNP), Nashik and Bank Note Press, Dewas.

The inauguration of new bank-note printing line at CNP Nashik was done by the Ministry of Finance's Special Secretary & Financial Adviser Meera Swarup and for the new banknote printing line at Bank Note Press, Dewas inauguration was done by the Department of Economic Affairs' Senior Economic Adviser Shashank Saksena through virtual mode in the presence of Member of Parliament Hemant Tukaram Godse from Nashik constituency SPMCIL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Tripti Patra Ghosh, Director (HR) SK Sinha, SPMCIL CVO Vinay Kumar Singh, BNP Dewas' Chief General Manager Rajesh Bansal and CNP Nashik's Chief General Manager Bolewar Babu.

SPMCIL is a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Finance. The company's main objective is to develop and produce cost-efficient high-quality security products of international standard and to meet the requirements of the central government and the state governments regarding security products, currency and coins.
