Sushil Kumar Singh (IDAS) set to be Director in Department of Financial Services

New Delhi: Sushil Kumar Singh (IDAS), who was recommended for the Central Deputation by the Ministry of Defence, has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Financial Services, Delhi under the Ministry of Finance. He has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Shushil Kumar Singh's profile & background

Shushil is an Indian Defence Account Service (IDAS) officer of the 2006-batch. He holds a post-graduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Allahabad. He has diverse experience while holding independent charge of various offices. He has served as the Dy. Controller, Defence Accounts cell in United Nations Mission, South Sudan. Presently he is serving in the capacity of Additional Controller in the office of the Pr. CDA (Pensions), Allahabad. He is heading the Grants section which is responsible for the Sanction and Revision of various pensionary awards of Armed Forces Personnel and Defence Civilians.

He joined as Sr. Dy. Integrated Financial Adviser in IFA (Airforce), Jamnagar and rendered financial advice to all Defence Establishments in Kutch and Saurashtra region of Gujarat. He has experience of working in the various factories and also as 'Member Finance' in the Tender Purchase Committees of Ordnance factories. He has also contributed in the disbursement of Pay and Allowance of more than 25000 Army Personnel while working as PAO (ORs) in charge of Dogra Regiment, Faizabad.
