UCIL recruitment 2019: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy, has invited job applications for the post of Director (Technical) and the last date to apply is January 13, 2020. The post is going to be vacant on December 1, 2020.

Director (Technical) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He/she heads the technical division of the company and is responsible for the operation of mines and plants and also execution of projects. He/she is also required to exercise statutory and corporate responsibilities for the efficient and profitable operation of the company and provide technical guidance.

Age Limit Minimum: 40 years

Age of superannuation: 60 years

Pay scale: Rs 1,60,000 – 2,90,000 (IDA)

Employment Status: The applicant must, on the date of application, as well as on the date of interview, be employed in a regular capacity – and not in a contractual/ad-hoc capacity – in one of the followings:

(a) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a full-time functional Director in the Board of a CPSE);

(b) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services; (c) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) where the annual turnover is *Rs 750 crore or more;

(d) Private Sector in a company where the annual turnover is *Rs 750 crore. Preference would be given to candidates from listed companies.

(*The average audited annual turnover of three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised shall be considered for applying the approved limits)

Qualifications: The applicant should be an engineering graduate preferably in Mining/ Chemical Engineering from a recognised university or institution with a good academic record. Applicants holding MBA or postgraduate diploma in management will have an added advantage.

Experience: The applicant should possess adequate technical/ operational experience at a senior level of management in a large organisation of repute, out of which at least five years during the last ten years should have been in Mining Sector or  Nuclear Fuel Cycle Sector.
