New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the proposal for the re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, currently held by Amit Meena (IAS), as Director in the same Ministry.
According to an official notification issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), this re-designation has been granted as a personal measure to Amit Meena with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post. The tenure of the appointment will extend until March 30, 2026, completing a total period of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Meena is a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Kerala cadre. He has been serving in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship as Deputy Secretary.
