Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS) gets additional charge as UIDAI CEO

The Govt has assigned additional charge of the UIDAI's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) post to Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS)

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS) for six months.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued on March 5, Kumar has been assigned with the additional responsibility of UIDAI’s CEO post with effect from January 1, 2025 for a period of six months or till appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Kumar is a 1995-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Presently, he is serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
