Brig DK Singh and Brig Vikas Lakhera get new responsibilities

The ACC has approved the proposal for the appointment of Brig DK Singh and Brig Vikas Lakhera as Inspector General (HQ) and Inspector General (North) in the Assam Rifles respectively

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for the appointment of Brig DK Singh as Inspector General (HQ). Brig Singh is currently serving as the Additional Officer, Delhi Area. According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post on the deputation basis for a period of 18 months from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till their retirement on attaining the age of superannuation from the Indian Army, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

The ACC has also approved the proposal for the appointment of Brig Vikas Lakhera as Inspector General (North) in the Assam Rifles. He has also been appointed to the post on a deputation basis for a period of 18 months from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till their retirement on attaining the age of superannuation from the Indian Army, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
