Bureaucratic reshuffle: Here’s the list of new Joint Secretaries

In a major reshuffle, the ACC has approved Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary-level appointment in various ministries & departments

New Delhi: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointments of Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary-equivalent level in various Departments and Ministries on Monday. Here's the full list:

  1. NBS Rajput has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievance. He is a 1999-batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Odisha cadre.
  2. Sushma Taishete has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Atomic Energy, (Mumbai). She is a Central Secretariat Service (CSS) officer and is presently working as Joint Secretary in the Department of Justice.
  3. Deepak Kapoor has been appointed as Additional CEO of GeM SPV (JS level) under the Department of Commerce. Kapoor is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1998 batch.
  4. K Ahirwar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce. Ahirwar is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 1997 batch.
  5. Aditi Das Rout has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture. Rout is currently working as Trade Advisor in the Ministry of Textiles.
  6. Satish Singh has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence. Singh is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of 1996 batch.
  7. Atul Saxena has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries. Saxena is an Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer of 1991 batch.
  8. Purushottam Tiwary has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Heavy Industry. He is an Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of 1996 batch.
  9. Neerja Sekhar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. She is a 1993 batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer of Haryana cadre.
  10. Niraj Kumar Gayagi has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Justice. He is an Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer of 1997 batch.
  11. Charanpreet Singh Bakshi has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. He is an Indian Revenue Service officer of 1992 batch.
  12. KV Pratap has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs. Pratap is an Indian Engineering Services (IES) officer of 1992 batch. He is currently working as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs.
  13. Baldeo Purushartha has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs. He is 2002 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab Cadre.
  14. Navneet Mohan Kothari has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He is a 2001 batch Indian Administrative Services (IAS) of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
  15. Sanjay Kumar Jam has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Public Enterprises. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of 1990 batch.
  16. Tanweer Qamar Mohammad has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation. He is an IPoS officer of 1994 batch.
