Centre clears appointment of 4 officers to Director, Deputy Secretary-level posts

The Govt has announced a series of senior-level appointments under the Central Staffing Scheme across various ministries and departments

New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has announced a series of senior-level appointments under the Central Staffing Scheme across various ministries and departments.

According to official orders, Astik Kumar Pandey (IAS, 2011), has been appointed as Director in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Delhi, for a period of five years from the date of assuming charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In another appointment, Harshvardhan Singh Khangarot, (IP&TA&FS, 2012), has been selected as Director in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi, for a tenure of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders.

Further, Tapasya Raghav, IAS (AGMUT:2013), has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Delhi, for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The DoPT has also appointed Nalin Bilochan, IRS (C&IT) (2011), as Director in the Ministry of Mines, Delhi, for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge on or after May 19, 2026, or until further orders.

The concerned ministries and departments have been requested to relieve the officers immediately to enable them to take up their new assignments.
