Danish Ashraf (IAS) appointed as Joint Development Commissioner in MSME Ministry

New Delhi: The Government of India has appointed Danish Ashraf (IAS) as Joint Development Commissioner (Director level) in the Office of the Development Commissioner, Delhi, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). He is a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of AGMUT cadre.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on September 22, Ashraf has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure of five years from the date of assuming charge, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The DoPT has directed that Ashraf be relieved of his current duties immediately to take up his new assignment.
