New Delhi: Dr Vivek Saxena (IFoS) has been appointed as Deputy Director General of Forests (DDGF), Lucknow. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Tuesday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Dr Vivek Saxena (IFoS) to the post of Deputy Director General of Forests (DDGF), Integrated Regional Office (IRO) at Lucknow.

Saxena is a 1991-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) service officer of Haryana cadre. Presently, he is serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Haryana State Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA).
