New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of central deputation tenure of Gurjeet Singh Dhillon, a 2002-batch Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) officer, as Director in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
According to an official memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on May 13, Dhillon will continue in his role for a period of one year beyond March 25, 2025 — i.e., until March 25, 2026 — or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Dhillon has been serving on central deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme since March 26, 2018. His continued tenure reflects the government's confidence in his administrative capabilities and the ongoing need for his expertise in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
