Kumar Saurabh (IAS) elevated to Director in Civil Aviation Ministry

New Delhi: The Government of India has approved the re-designation of Kumar Saurabh Raj (IAS) from Deputy Secretary to Director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The elevation has been sanctioned as a personal measure to him under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Raj is a 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Punjab cadre.

According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the re-designation will be effective from the date Kumar Saurabh Raj assumes charge of the new post. His tenure as Director will continue until January 24, 2028, completing a total of five years in the position.
