New Delhi: Pankaj Jain (IAS) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Coal & Mines G Kishan Reddy in the Ministry of Coal. The Central Government has approved his appointment on February 18.
Jain is a 2012-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre.
According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Jain has been appointed in the Ministry of Coal at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further order whichever is earlier.
