Rakesh Kumar Tondar (ITS) appointed as Director in DPIIT

New Delhi: Rakesh Kumar Tondar (ITS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (TSU) under the Ministry of Commerce.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a tenure up-to March 31, 2025 (i.e. till TSU is functional), which is further extendable up-to admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Tondar is an Indian Telecommunications Service (ITS) officer of 1998-batch. He was recommended for the Central Deputation by the Department of Telecommunications (ITS). “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (TSU),” the order further read.
