Retired IAS officer Trilochan Majhi re-engaged as OSD to Odisha CM

New Delhi: The Odisha Government has re-engaged retired IAS officer Trilochan Majhi as Officer on Special Duty (OSD)-cum-Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for a period of one year.

According to an order issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Govt of Odisha, Trilochan Majhi, IAS (Retd), who served as Additional Secretary to the Government in the Home Department, retired from government service on superannuation with effect from August 31, 2026.

He has been re-engaged in the new assignment with immediate effect for a period of one year.

The order follows his retirement from government service and places him in the OSD-cum-Additional Secretary role in the Chief Minister’s Office. The appointment has also been reported by Odisha media based on the government notification.

Majhi holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics. His administrative career spans more than 14 years in the IAS, during which he handled responsibilities in departments including Revenue and Disaster Management and Home.
