Santosh Kumar Tiwari (ISS) appointed Director in Lokpal

Santosh Kumar Tiwari (ISS) has been appointed as Director in the Lokpal on Central deputation

New Delhi: Santosh Kumar Tiwari (ISS) has been appointed as Director in the Lokpal on Central deputation, according to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). He is an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of the 2011 batch.

Tiwari, who is currently serving in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI), has been selected for Central deputation for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The appointment has been made under the administrative control of the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India. The order directs Tiwari to be relieved of his duties in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation immediately, with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Lokpal.
