Sonamani Haobam (IES) set to be Deputy Secretary in MoEFCC

Sonamani Haobam (IES), who was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC)

New Delhi: Sonamani Haobam (IES) is set to be Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC). He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs. According to an order issued on September 18, he has been selected for appointment under Central Staffing Scheme for a period of four years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post until further order, whichever is earlier. Haobam is an Indian Economic Service (IES) officer of 2009-batch. He is currently posted as JD (C&C) in the Department of Economic Affairs. 

Further, in another order issued on the same day, Anvita Sinha (IRPS) has been recommended for the post of Director in the Department of Justice. She was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Railways. According to the order, she has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Sinha is an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer of 2003-batch.

Also, Abhishek Kumar (IRS) has been selected for appointment as Director in the National Health Authority under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. He was recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. He has been selected for appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
