Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Sunil Sharma has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of School Education & Literacy

New Delhi: Sunil Sharma (IRS) has been selected for the appointment as Director in the Department of School Education & Literacy under the Ministry of Education. According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sharma has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sharma is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of 2010-batch. He was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Steel,” the order further added.
