New Delhi: Vineeth S (IAS) has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme.

Vineeth, who is currently on compulsory wait in the Department of Higher Education, will hold the post until April 26, 2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

According to an DoPT order, Vineeth tenure will cover the balance period of his four-year deputation at the Deputy Secretary level, effective from the date he assumes charge of the post.
