COVID-19: RINL collective distributes groceries & masks

Visakhapatnam: In order to extend its helping hand to the needy in and around its vicinity during the current lockdown of Coronavirus (COVID-19), RINL-VSP collective in association with a philanthropic organisation distributed groceries, masks, soaps etc to the underprivileged migrant workers near Duvvada railway station on Thursday. The stranded workers are facing a lot of hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

RINL-VSP's CMD PK Rath, Director (Operations) AK Saxena, Executive Director (Works) KV Vidyasagar distributed groceries, masks, soaps etc; to the migrant workers. A large number of migrant workers received groceries by observing social distance.

Ukkunagaram Schools' gesture to PM CARES

As a fine gesture, eleven schools of Ukkunagaram have contributed over Rs 6 Lakhs to the Prime Minister's citizen assistance and relief in emergency situation (PM-CARES) fund to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

The contributing schools include DAV, DePaul and Visakha Vimala Vidyalaya (Ukkunagaram and BC Road branches ), DPS, Little Angels, Siva Sivani, Jyoti Bala Vihar and Arunodaya Special School.

Pitching in to help manage the COVID-19 outbreak, the schools of steel Plant Township and its staff have voluntarily contributed to the PM-CARES Fund.
