CSR Watch: NHPC provides RO water system to National Association for Blind

New Delhi: NHPC Limited has provided a 250 LPH RO Water System to National Association for the Blind (Haryana State Branch), Faridabad under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The RO Water System has been inaugurated by NHPC Women's Welfare Association's President Sudha Singh on Thursday at Faridabad. NHPC Limited's  General Manager (Civil) – CSR&SD RK Agrawal, National Association for the Blind's (Haryana State Branch) President Ajeet Singh Patwa, National Association for the Blind's (Haryana State Branch) KD Mishra and members of NHPC Women's Welfare Association were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudha Singh said that the RO Water System would be beneficial in providing clean water to the visually challenged students of the centre. She further praised the NHPC CSR-SD team for this humanitarian initiative.

The 250 LPH RO Water System has a capacity of 250 litres per hour and will benefit about 80 students residing at the centre of  National Association for the Blind (Haryana State Branch), Faridabad. The authorities of the National Association for the Blind expressed their gratitude to NHPC for providing the RO Water System.
