New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited contributed Insulated Vaccine Vans; Ice lined Refrigerator and Deep Freezer to Leh and Kargil recently. These refrigerators and freezers were handed over by NBCC's General Manager (HRM/CSR) Debashish Satapathy to the District Medical Officers of Leh and Kargil districts in Ladakh. This was done for the welfare of the society and the promotion of healthcare.

During COVID-19 vaccinations and other vaccination drives, these medical items and vans proved to be a boon for distant and deserted areas of Ladakh including the border areas of China and Pakistan. These medical equipment are extensively used in storing and transporting the vaccines provided by state and central government in locations having extreme climatic conditions.
