Each van will feature microscopes, telescopes, solar energy kits, optics and rocket models, laptops, projectors and a range of learning tools. The project also includes the deployment of trained lab instructors, preparation of IEC materials and capacity-building programmes to ensure long-term effectiveness.

He noted that by bringing science learning beyond textbooks, the project aims to nurture scientific thinking and support the development of future-ready human capital in Assam.

The project will be implemented over one year with structured monitoring, periodic reporting and submission of utilisation certificates as per CSR guidelines. NTPC Bongaigaon will conduct regular field reviews to ensure transparency and timely delivery of project objectives.

With this initiative, NTPC Bongaigaon reinforces its commitment to inclusive, innovation-driven community development, aligned with national priorities of promoting scientific temper and improving access to quality education.
