New Delhi: In a bid to promote local sports talent, NTPC Dadri, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, honoured young cricketer Disha Nagar by presenting her with a professional cricket bat. The felicitation was carried out by Chandramouli Kashina, Executive Director & Project Head, NTPC Dadri, during a courtesy meeting held on Wednesday.

Disha has been selected as an all-rounder for the South Delhi team in the upcoming Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025, scheduled to commence on August 17. Congratulating her on the achievement, Kashina remarked that securing such recognition at the young age of 17 is highly inspiring.

Hailing from Akilpur Jagir village in Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Disha is the daughter of Arvind Nagar and Seema Devi. She has been representing the Delhi State Cricket Under-19 group as an all-rounder since 2023. Her selection for the DPL has brought pride to her family and community.

Expressing her gratitude to NTPC Dadri for the recognition and encouragement, Disha said that the platform will serve as a golden opportunity to progress and make a mark at the national level. She added that the support from NTPC will further boost her confidence.
