In a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE, the state-owned missile manufacturer said the major orders include Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAMs) under emergency procurement by the Indian Army. The company stated that the terms and conditions of the orders remain confidential owing to national security considerations.

According to details provided under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, the newly received orders are entirely from a domestic entity, the Indian Army. While the execution period for ATGMs has been set at 42 months, SAM systems are to be delivered within 12 months.

BDL clarified that the orders do not involve any related-party transactions and that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.

The fresh order inflow strengthens BDL’s growing defence production portfolio and reinforces its role as a key supplier of strategic missile systems to India’s armed forces.
