BEL pays 2nd interim dividend of Rs 224 crore to Govt

Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has paid interim dividend of 60 percent on its paid-up capital to the Government of India for the financial year 2022-23

New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU, has paid interim dividend of 60 percent on its paid-up capital to the Government of India for the financial year 2022-23.

BEL's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Bhanu Prakash Srivastava presented the second interim dividend cheque of Rs 224 crore, payable on the shares held by the President of India, to the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, at New Delhi on Monday. BEL has declared 60 percent percent as Second Interim Dividend (Rs 0.60/- per share) to its shareholders for the financial year 2022-23.

This is the 20th consecutive year that BEL is paying interim dividend. BEL has paid 60 percent as first interim dividend (Rs 0.60/- per share) in February 2023 to its shareholders for the financial year 2022-23.

BEL has paid a total dividend of 450 percent on its paid up capital for the financial year 2021-22.
