BEL places Rs 3 crore order on Avantel for supply of power amplifiers

New Delhi: State-owned defence electronics major Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has placed an additional order worth Rs 3.01 crore (excluding taxes) on Avantel Limited for the supply of power amplifiers, further strengthening their collaboration in indigenous defence manufacturing.

The order pertains to the procurement of power amplifiers, which are critical components used in defence and aerospace communication systems to enhance signal strength and ensure reliable performance in mission-critical environments.

BEL, a leading public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, develops advanced electronic systems for the Indian Armed Forces and other defence agencies. The latest order aligns with its ongoing efforts to strengthen domestic supply chains and promote self-reliance in defence production.

The contract is scheduled to be executed by July 2026.

Commenting on the development, Siddhartha Abburi, Director of Avantel Limited, said the repeat order reflects continued trust in the company’s capabilities and its commitment to delivering high-quality communication solutions for the defence sector.

Avantel specialises in designing and developing communication products, radar systems and network management software applications, primarily for aerospace and defence applications.
