GRSE pays interim dividend of Rs 42.24 crores to Govt for FY 2021-22

New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders and EngineersLimited (GRSE) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 56.70 crores for FY 2021-22 to its shareholders. The interim dividend cheque amounting to Rs 42.24 crore as the government's share was handed over to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, by GRSE's Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) Cmde PR Hari, IN (Retd) in New Delhi on Thursday. On the occasion, Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar, Additional Secretary (Defence Production) Sanjay Jaju, Joint Secretary (Naval System) Surendra Prasad Yadav and GRSE's Director (Finance) RK Dash were also present.

GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.95 per equity share of Rs 10 for FY 2021-22 against Rs 3.85 in FY 20-21, reflecting a remarkable increase of 28.57 percent. GRSE has been consistent in paying dividends to the shareholders and has done so every year for the last 28 years. The company has a strong order book position of Rs 24,605 crores as of December 31, 2021.
