New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has reported a revenue of Rs 32,250 crore (provisional and unaudited) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, reflecting steady growth over Rs 30,981 crore recorded in the previous fiscal, despite global supply chain disruptions.

The state-run aerospace major maintained its growth momentum even as deliveries of LCA Mk1A and HTT-40 aircraft faced delays due to geopolitical and technical challenges impacting supply chains. However, accelerated deliveries of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), AL31-FP and RD-33 engines, along with other products and services, helped sustain its topline and profitability.
Commenting on the performance, HAL's Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) DK Sunil said the company demonstrated resilience amid geopolitical tensions and global conflicts, while strengthening its order pipeline, expanding manufacturing capacity and diversifying into the civil aviation segment.
HAL’s order book stood at around Rs 2.54 lakh crore as of March 31, compared to Rs 1.89 lakh crore at the beginning of the year. The growth was driven by major contracts with the Ministry of Defence, including the supply of 97 Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk1A worth Rs 62,370 crore, six ALH helicopters for Rs 2,704 crore and eight Dornier aircraft for Rs 2,186 crore. The strong pipeline of manufacturing orders for aircraft, helicopters and engines is expected to provide revenue visibility over the next 7–8 years.
During the year, HAL paid an interim dividend of Rs 35 per equity share (face value Rs 5), amounting to Rs 2,341 crore. Additionally, it paid a final dividend of Rs 15 per share for FY25, totalling Rs 1,003 crore, taking the overall dividend payout to Rs 3,344 crore.
On the operational front, the company operationalised its third LCA Tejas production line and a second HTT-40 production line at its Nasik division, boosting manufacturing capacity. HAL also signed a memorandum of understanding with Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) to establish a strategic metal bank aimed at ensuring availability of critical raw materials.
Marking its entry into civil aviation, HAL conducted the inaugural flight of the Dhruv NG helicopter, while the first series-production HTT-40 aircraft also completed its maiden flight.
As part of its diversification strategy, the company entered into multiple partnerships, including an MoU with United Aircraft Corporation in Moscow to manufacture the SJ-100 civil aircraft. It also signed contracts with Pawan Hans Limited for supply of 10 Dhruv NG helicopters and with Jags Aviation, Guyana, for two Hindustan-228 aircraft, which have already been delivered ahead of schedule.
In a strategic move towards the space sector, HAL signed the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology transfer agreement with Indian Space Research Organisation, IN-SPACe and NewSpace India Limited, positioning itself as a launch service provider in the growing small satellite market.
The company also advanced its digital transformation initiatives through deployment of robotic process automation, AI-enabled systems such as flight snag intelligence, and digital inspection tools. It is further strengthening its IT infrastructure with plans for a Tier-3 data centre and private cloud.

In line with its sustainability goals, HAL has established a cumulative renewable energy capacity of 50.15 MW, meeting around 40 percent of its electricity requirements from green sources. On the social front, it launched the HAL Endowment Scholarship Scheme in partnership with Indian Institute of Technology Madras to support students from economically weaker sections.
With a strong order book, enhanced production capabilities and improving supply chains, HAL expects to deliver robust financial performance in FY27 and beyond.
