Padavittan Babu set to be next Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Padavittan Babu for the post of Director (Production & Marketing) of Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI)

New Delhi: Padavittan Babu is set to be next Director (Production & Marketing) of Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI), a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Technical Services) in the same organisation.

Babu has been recommended for the post of Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI from a list of 12 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 1. Out of 12 candidates, four candidates were from SAIL, three candidates were from RINL-VSP, two candidates were from NMDC Limited and one each from Ordnance Factory Ambernath and others.

As Director (Production & Marketing) of MIDHANI, Babu will be a member of the board of directors and will report to the Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for technology development, production as well as marketing and business development activities of the company to meet customer requirements to promote sales of high-technology and custom-made special materials in the country and for export.
