PESB names Sundaresan S for BEML's Director (Mining & Construction Business) post

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Sundaresan S for the post of Director (Mining & Construction Business) of BEML Limited on Tuesday

New Delhi: Sundaresan S is set to be next Director (Mining & Construction Business) of BEML Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (SBU Head Metro Rail & VB Sleeper Production) in the same organisation.

Sundaresan has been recommended for the post of Director (Mining & Construction Business) of BEML Limited from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel, in its selection meeting held on August 11. Out of 11 candidates, eight candidates were from BEML and one candidate each from NTPC Limited, NLC India Limited and MMTC Limited.

As Director (Mining & Construction Business) of BEML, Sundaresan will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). As a Business Group head, he would be overall responsible for the entire gamut of design & development, manufacturing & performance of earthmoving equipments and other equipments used for the purpose of mining and construction.
